What we do

Filming

We offer the filming of any event, whether it be as personal and special as your wedding day, birthday, anniversary, bar mitzvah, other celebration or corporate video services. These can be shot on either Video or Super 8mm, depending on what your requirements may be.

Transfer

We are also proud and pleased to offer Super 8mm cine services in which we can transfer your old cine films (either Super 8mm or Standard 8mm) that may be lying around your house or stuck up in the attic! We use a broadcast quality telecine machine to ensure the best possible frame accurate quality. Edited together with music of your choice and authored onto a DVD these make perfect family gifts. Re-editing

Re-editing your old videos or cine films is also a great idea. Transfer your old boring or overly long videos into a shorter more sophisticated film that you will enjoy watching over and over again and feel proud about showing off to other family members and friends with our re-editing services. DVD authoring

All of your precious moments whether they be captured by us or re-edited by us will be authored onto DVDs with interactive menus and music appropriate for the occasion.

*Important Notes About DVD

Please be aware that certain older models of DVD players may have difficulty playing the new DVD formats. If your DVD player is more than two years old, it is possible that it falls into this category. Most new DVD players will play the new formats without problems, but on rare occasions, they may also have a compatibility problem.

As standard, we will produce your video on DVD-R as this formats compatibility is rated at 95%.

All DVD's are thoroughly checked before they leave I-Do-Films, so playback problems can be due to incompatibility with your DVD player rather than any problem with the DVD itself.

If you have any doubt about your DVD player’s ability to play either of these formats, we suggest that you order a copy of your wedding on VHS cassette as well as DVD to avoid disappointment. You can also e-mail us with the make and model number of your DVD player and we shall endeavor to find out the compatibility.

Terms and conditions

A non-refundable deposit of £150 is payable when booking your wedding video and to secure your wedding date. The balance is due within one week following the wedding date and before the finished product is delivered.

In the event that more than one client wishes to book wedding services on the same day, preference will go to the first client to pay the deposit. Rescheduled weddings will only be accommodated if the new date does not conflict with another booked wedding.

I Do Films will be the exclusive professional videographer. Friends and family are permitted to operate video cameras on the condition that they do not interfere with or get in the way of the professional coverage.

It is the client's responsibility to secure access to areas for videography. I Do Films will not be responsible for coverage lost due to access restrictions.

Creative aspects such as shooting and editing style are at the discretion of I Do Films, although this will be discussed at the initial meeting.

I Do Films will not be held liable for any production problems beyond our control, e.g. bad weather, accidents, poor acoustics/lighting, interference from guests, etc.

I Do Films reserves the right to terminate this contract at any time for any reasonable cause, e.g. accident or ill health. In this event all monies paid will be refunded in full.

Any liability on the part of I Do Films will be limited to the amount of monies paid.

Upon taking possession of the finished product, the client must inform I Do Films of any technical or other problems with the video within 7 days. After 7 days, if no notification has been received, the client will be deemed to be satisfied with the product.
